Good Morning Sunday
Sunday Mornings are a time to take a breath and get some much needed “you” time. With the cold weather our “yard time” is reduced, add to that working in an office 14 hours a day? It has an affect on a person. We try to combat it by having white Christmas lights that we turn on in the evening to help prepare us and let our minds know the day is done.
I don’t think any of that is new and I’m sure I’ve mentioned it before, but with our Sunday mornings and the chance to go into work late also adds a complication. You can’t go to the DFAC to get coffee without being in uniform, no PT’s allowed. And no coffee pots allowed in your room… we learnt the hard way of that rule applying to our single cup Senseo machine on a fire inspection. So with that said you can imagine how excited I was when I came back from my morning latrine time to see our two travel mugs filled with hot coffee sitting on the shelf!
My husband of course sees my smile and has his moment of glory … “Yea, that’s how I roll! I can put on my uniform, go to the DFAC, get coffee, come back to our Chu and be back in comphy clothes before you do – whatever it is you do in there!” I love this man.
