Up on the Rooftop Click, Click…
Click! Up to the rooftop went this crazy chick!
Yes … I got a wild hair when the weather dawned this morning. I was going to get photos in today – and I wanted to get the mountains. The problem is our compound is surrounded by T-Walls and Sniper shields, so seeing out isn’t that easy, a peak or two between the barriers may happen but certainly not the shot I wanted to get. So I checked around and found out how I could get access to the roof! Up the flights of stairs, breathless in itself. The metal ladder tested my fear factor as I climbed up to unlock the latch. My battle buddy had to go up to get the hatch lifted.
Once up on the roof the cold air whipped about and I was regretting not bringing my jacket. But the view! Oh it was incredible.

Anyone know the name of this mosque? I’m going to take it out to the painter to see if he has a painting of this one
I hope you enjoyed joining me up on the rooftop and getting a view of the neighborhood as the seagull flies!

Your rooftop view is great. But are you sure you are supposed to be up there?
