Well best laid plans, and good intentions right? I had hoped to write a blog post on a MWF schedule. Here it is 9 days later and I have to blow a little dust off the blog and catch up – again. I just have no “schedule” right now. Things got a little hectic after my last post Limbolympics to say the least.
So to catch up as far as my workouts have gone, I have kept up with the running:
Thur = 3 miles in 30:00 plus pull ups and squats
Fri = 2 Miles in 18:00
Sat & Sun - not so much (I had friends to visit on Saturday and Sunday I was a lazy lounge lizard at the pool)
Mon = We did a pre “APFT” so a 2 mile run (18:40 seconds), Push Ups (35 in 2 minutes), Situps (75 in 2 minutes)
Tue = 3 miles in 30:00 plus pull ups and squats
Wed = Hubster and I slept in * come back to THAT story in a moment *
Thur = Back and biceps, plus a Glute routine and a 1 mile run on the treadmill
And here we are at Finally Friday!!
So notice how I slid in my Hubster and I sleeping in? Well this is a little bit of a peak as to why I’ve been “Gone.” Like I have said before he and I are separated with the military training and all right now, so me in Fort Gordon, he was still in Germany.
WAS We had a change in plans (thank you again Army) since the Furloughs are affecting the civilian workforce, all military 4-days at TRADOC (Training Doctrine Command) have been shortened to a 3-day weekend. *Sigh* (I do a lot of sighing lately) So buh-bye plans to go to Rhode Island for a 4-day and see each other, we decided from his return flight from Germany he would fly here for the week before heading back to his family for the festivities and visits with his family and friends. I’m very happy to say the last few days we have been touring Georgia and just got back from seeing Savannah. We had such a good time and found so much to do we ended up staying the night. Another blog … its my last night with him before he heads out in the morning to join up with the rest of the Ostrander clan. I’ll catch up, I have some great pics to share from our exploring Augusta and Savannah. Have a great weekend!
PS: Hoping I’ll have some great news to share soon about my next duty location, I was able to submit my request to reunite with Fletch in Fort Drum, NY next.
PPS: Yea remember my car plates? Looks like I’ll be sporting California plates for a year! Seems they won’t issue a title without registering it in California – which is completely fine with me, now I don’t have to stress about Georgia!
