I was stationed here in 1990 and moved back to CA in 1994. As an 18 year old, Heidelberg Germany was a totally fun duty station. But I was amazed as I drove onto PHV (Patrick Henry Village) how little looked familiar.

Okay its NOT that hard, I had an APO AE box back in 1990, so its NOT like American companies do not know that this is an American Military address. We don’t mail to our houses, we all go to Company Mail Rooms and collect our mail. It’s all very well watched and organized.
